Unlike the onboarding session, this one recorded in full.

What was covered

Modules 000 and 100, alongside a live clinic on minting the Andamio access token.

The token step took longer than planned, and that is worth saying plainly rather than glossing over: wallet connection and collateral caught people out. Collateral was worked through on the call. If you are still stuck, ask in the cohort Discord and we will finish it with you rather than leave you to it.

Harry also previewed the module 300 framework, which sorts an organisation into four areas: your essence, your internal workings, your market environment, and the wider forces acting on all of it. That structure carries the rest of the course.

What was discussed

  • Reaching delegators, and how hard attention is to win even when you already have an engaged community around the pool.
  • Why a pool can be technically excellent and still stay commercially invisible, and why more technical work does not close that gap.
  • How business models built for other industries have to be adapted for blockchain, rather than adopted unchanged.
  • The chain parameters target 500 pools. That is what the protocol aims at, not a count of pools already operating at optimal size.

Points raised in the sessions are recorded here; nothing is attributed to a named participant.

What participants need to do

  1. Work module 200, Your Journey Toolkit, and complete its assignment. Fifteen to thirty minutes.
  2. Start module 300, Your Why, if you have the time.
  3. Submit assignments in Andamio as you finish them, so they can be reviewed and your credential issued.
  4. Still not minted the access token? Say so in the cohort Discord. The cost is refunded.

Next session

The date is moving. The original Monday slot clashes with Token2049 and several participants are travelling, so a poll is going out in the cohort Discord channel to find the slot that works for the most people. Sessions 3 and 4 remain 12 and 19 October, 16:00 UTC, unless the poll forces a wider change.

Update, 5 October: sessions 2, 3 and 4 have each moved back one week. They now run on Mondays 12, 19 and 26 October, 16:00 UTC.
