Project Catalyst Milestones

This section tracks the deliverables and progress for the SPO Academy Project Catalyst funding milestones.

Milestone Overview​

Milestone 1: Course Foundation and User Experience Design​

  • Status: Completed — approved by two reviewers, August 2024
  • Focus: Business persona definition, learning objectives, course structure, UI/UX design
  • Key Deliverables: SPO business personas, learning objectives framework, course outline, PBL scenarios, design mockups, site structure

Milestone 2: Technical Infrastructure and Content Development​

  • Status: Completed — signed off September 2025
  • Focus: Treasury smart contract, Andamio blockchain functionality, course content, video pre-production, front-end components
  • Key Deliverables: Treasury smart contract, slide decks for all modules, video scripts and storyboards, front-end implementation

Milestone 3: Platform Enhancement and Course Content Finalization​

  • Status: In progress
  • Focus: Completed blockchain functionality, refined UI, assessment tools, finished video content, payment processing, interactive course elements
  • Progress at 2026-07-30:
    • Course content built out on the platform — 8 modules, 39 learning targets, 38 lessons, 8 introductions, 172 figures
    • Assessment tools delivered — one assignment per module, evidencing all 39 learning targets
    • Outstanding: video content, payment processing, and confirmation of the blockchain, front-end and interactive-component work

Final Milestone: Platform Launch, Community Engagement, and Project Evaluation​

  • Status: Not started
  • Focus: Treasury system, live test cohort of ~20 SPOs, pricing model, marketing campaign, on-chain assets

  • One assignment per module, covering all 39 learning targets
  • 172 diagrams and figures served from the platform CDN
