The problem

Cardano's funded development teams are, in the main, excellent engineers. Many have limited experience of running a commercial organisation. Edify's earlier Catalyst programmes, run with stake pool operators from Fund 7 onwards, found the same thing repeatedly: the gap is leadership, purpose, business model and market, not technical skill.

The programme

The Developer Accelerator Academy turns Edify's live, facilitated coaching programmes into an asynchronous course that any funded team can take at its own pace. Nine modules take a team from orientation through purpose, value, market, internal and external environments, to a working business playbook and a leadership model. Each module ends in an assignment applied to the learner's own venture.

Partners

  • Edify Systems Group (Edify CoLabs): programme design, curriculum and frameworks, led by Harry Hellyer.
  • Fluid7: platform integration, on-chain work, and front-end development.
  • Andamio: the project-based learning platform the course runs on.

Change of delivery partner

The approved milestones name DCypher as a delivery partner. DCypher became unavailable, and Fluid7, a listed co-partner on the proposal, took on their responsibilities. The work the milestones describe as DCypher's was carried out by Fluid7 working directly with the Andamio team.

On 9 June 2026 we submitted a change request documenting this, with detailed acceptance criteria aligned to current Catalyst standards. The Catalyst team advised a change request was unnecessary and that we should deliver against the approved criteria, which is what each submission does. For objectivity, each milestone's evidence is still structured around that change request's detailed criteria.

Two consequences run through the submissions, and are not restated on each page:

  • GitLab in place of GitHub. Fluid7 builds on its own self-hosted GitLab, so where the approved evidence says GitHub, the repositories cited are GitLab projects. The one holding the evidence is public and browsable without an account.
  • Close-out video channel. The Milestone 4 close-out video is hosted on Edify's own channel, not the DCypher one the approved evidence names.
